Just a reminder to those coming to bring:

  • supper to share - finger food please
  • your own cold drinks: soft drinks, juice, beer, wine, whatever (tea, coffee, hot chocolate will be provided though)
  • your own glasses (otherwise you’ll have to use a cup)
  • cards
  • games
  • dancing shoes
  • a sense of fun and a big smile

at Te Kowhai Hall.

As the ball was so successful we decided another fun evening was called for! We will again have an electronic jukebox for dancing, but feel free to bring along cards, games etc. for those who don’t wish to dance, or who want a break.
Bring supper to share, and also BYO drinks and glasses!

THEN member household $5,
Non-member household $15, plus $5 per ‘extra’ accompanying a household.

Tickets available for all home educators in and around the Waikato. Send your cheque, made out to THEN, and post to Cally  …

Art with Graham Braddock

A professional artist, Graham Braddock, is coming to give the children an art lesson.  Graham is an inspirational teacher who can captivate his audience for about 2 hours and children all finish with a great work of art to take home.

When:   Wednesday 7 November

Time:   9:30 am - 11:30 am

Where:  Pirongia Rugby Club Rooms

Cnr Kane Street and Kakaramea Road
(past golf course and on Left just as you come into Pirongia township from Hamilton)

For:  All children about 5yrs up to teenagers - adults welcome to join in too

Cost:  $5 per person

What to bring:  A selection of art pencils;  HB,  2B  etc;  A4 paper  ( 2 pieces each),  rubber, and 2 sheets of newspaper.
